  1. EC immediate past president:

EC immediate past president shall be the EC board member. EC shall have a total of 17 board officers/members.

  • Existing: 11 elected + 2 from Buddhist community + 2 NST

  • Youth members shall have voting rights once their contribution reaches $1,500.
  • Must pay a total of $1500 by age 30 to secure (reserve) the next level of membership e.g Founding Membership for now.

The idea is to encourage the youth to join NCSC as volunteers and lead the organization in the future.

  1. Life Membership: Fee raised from $1000 to $2,000.
  2. Founding Membership:

Raised fees from $3000 to $3,500; Membership timeline is extended to December 31, 2023.

Reason for these amendments:

  1. Euless project is still in progress – in foundation period.
  2. we have not been able to provide opportunity to a lot of new families who want to join the journey of NCSC.
  3. We were not able to reach out to so many families due to covid pandemic in 2020-2021.
  1. BOT: Timeline is extended to December 31, 2023 for the same reason above.
  2. Family Patron (donation amount $50,000): Both husband and wife shall have privileges as Patrons. In addition, unmarried children in the family will be invited to/and honored in the formal programs of NCSC.
  3. NST Related: Add the following under NST section:

NCSC will honor the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed in Jan 2022 between NST Team (EC Term 2022-2023) led by president Rajendra Wagle and NCSC (EC Term 2021-2022) led by Suresh Pokhrel. The signed copy of the MOU shall be attached to the bylaws for reference.
