NCSC (Nepali Mandir) Election Committee’s Notice:

1.    As per the mandate given by the Board of Trustees’ meeting held on 25th of September, 2022, the election committee chairperson Prakash Gautam has expanded  the Election Committee as below:

Election Committee Chair: Mr. Prakash Gautam

Election Committee Members (in alphabetic order):

• Mr. Bilas Upadhyay, CPA
• Mr. Dhananjaya Dhakal
• Mr. Dhiren Gurung

2.    As per the clause 8.8 of the NCSC bylaw, the Election Committee will give emphasis on consensus, while forming the BOT and the Executive Committee of NCSC for 2023-2024; if unable to do so, the Election Committee will conduct the election as below:

• Election Process Timeline

1. November 20, 2022: NCSC shall provide Eligible voters’ list to the Election Committee.
2. November 27 to December 2, 2022 (5 pm): Nomination period.
3. December 4: Nomination List will be posted in the Nepal Mandir/social Medias.
4. December 5 and December 6 (5 pm): Time to file objection to any candidate.
5. December 7 (5 pm): Last date/time to withdraw the nomination; final list of candidates will be released.
6. December 11, 2022: Election date (10 am -3 pm)
7. All nominations should be sent to the chair of the NCSC Elections Committee, Prakash Gautam at p-gau@hotmail.com, with CC to all three executive members: biu.cpafirm@gmail.com, djdhakal@gmail.com, ETLgurung@yahoo.com. Nomination filing fees for each position will be determined soon. 

3.    The following NCSC offices are subject to election for 2023-2024:

1.    Positions for the BOT election:

• Position #1: Chairperson -1
• Position #2: Vice Chairperson - Organization and Management (O&M) -1
• Position #3 Vice Chairperson - Investment, Planning, and Finance (IPF) -1
• Position #4 Secretary -1

2.    Positions for the EC election:

• Position #1: President -1
• Position #2: Vice President- Operation and Management (O&M) -1
• Position #3: Vice President-Communication and Compliance (C&C) -1
• Position #4: General Secretary -1
• Position #5: Secretary -1
• Position #6: Treasurer -1
• Position #7: Assistant Treasurer -1
• Position #8: Members -10 (including 2 from NST and 2 form each religious faith)
